mcXML - XML Forecast extractor tool

mcXML is a command-line program. Its purpose is to take an XML forecasts file, and extract the data into a form that MCH can understand.

The program is specifically designed to process files originating with Environment Canada; it can very easily be modified to work with any other format.

The output is an MCH forecasts file, keyed to a specific location. It can be directly read in by MCH and incorporated into the database.

Forecasts are retained by MCH for up to 16 hours.
