Demmery Software has existed since 1986, AKA Pacifica Software and WCD Software. We are located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Our first public release was in the 1980s, for the Atari ST line of computers.
Demmery Software is a non-profit operation. We do not charge for, or for the use of, our software. We also do not collect
personal or other information, period.
The principal developer, Bill Demmery, is a polymath and shameless promoter, with experience in many fields:

- Bookkeeping (20 years' experience)
- Computer Programming (35 years' experience; 11 years' professionally)
- Computer Installation/Servicing Techncian (25 years' experience)
- Small website designer/maintainer (25 years' experience)
- Administrative Support (25 years' experience)
- Audio Recording Engineer (13 years' experience)
- Multitrack Audio editing and Show Production (13 years' experience)
- Voice Actor (13 years' experience)
- Writer (published author) (25 years' experience)
- DXer (hobby) (45 years)
Our software offerings are mostly to do with technical subjects--collecting and amalgamating weather data, supports for
technical hobbies, etc.
The languages used here are primarily:
- Pascal (Free Pascal/Lazarus)
- Java (Java Spring, Apache Tapestry)
- JavaScript
We also occasionally code BASH scripts, and in AWK and C.
We are currently looking into Rust as a potential language to add to our fold.
