ABOUT NATASHA GLUTH


Training and Experience


Ms. Gluth earned a Masters in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University in 2014. Prior to that, she earned a Correctional Worker Diploma from Algonquin College in Ottawa (2000), a BA (Pyschology) from Carleton University, in Ottawa (2002) and a BSW, also from Carleton (2008).

She also has several professional certifications:

She is also qualified to use EMDR-basic (EMDRIA).

She has worked as a Youth Counsellor (2000-2002), and as an Addiction Counsellor, eventually rising to Program Director, at Newgate 180 (Merrickville, ON) (2002-2012). She has also done a field placement at Decision House, in Ottawa.

In 2013, she worked at Nats'Ejee K'Eh, at the Hay River Dene Reserve.

From 2013-2015, she worked with military members at CFB Petawawa. She was most-recently employed as a counsellor at CFB Kingston, and is now operating a private practice in Ottawa.

Natasha currently maintains membership in the OCSWSSW, OASW, and CACCF.

Therapeutic Approach


Natasha approaches therapy in a collaborative way, creating a safe place for clients to explore and understand patterns in their life that might be preventing them from living the life they want, and to heal.
