Actor: Bill "Gnome" Demmery

Bio:

Originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Bill is the son of a sailor and a boatbuilder's daughter, which might explain his sense of humour. Bill joined Remote Planet in Season Five, as a voice actor, began writing in Season Six, and took on production in Season Seven. Bill's comedic style weaves together parody, a touch of sarcasm, and a healthy dose of cheek. Among his most-prominent creations are the Kanata 9-1-1 series of Personal Lifestyle Emergency dramatizations, and the Snoozy Suzie series of skits and full-length romps. An accomplished voice actor, which he credits to years of horsing around with his quick-witted brothers, he brings a raft of character voices and impressions to the show.
   During daylight hours, Bill is a mild-mannered office administrator and team-support specialist with a wide range of interests, knowledge and pursuits and a talent for writing; in the past, he's also worked as a programmer and documentation author.
   Did you know? Bill was stand-up comedian Damonde Tschritter's babysitter, in Sooke, BC.
   Bill hopes to be a serious writer when he grows up; unfortunately, he stopped growing 30 years ago.
