Freelance Software Developer

I have been developing software since the very early eighties. I did a stint as a professional software developer in 1989-1990, working on point-of-sale systems for public-facing industries; and since 2012 have been under contract to a local company, TPG, working on high-availability, security-sensitive systems for the US Postal Service.

In my professional development, I use Java, JavaScript, and SQL.

For personal development, I prefer Pascal; but, like most developers, I can quickly adapt to almost any language.

For quick references, I offer the fact that I have been kept on contract all these years, while working on some very security-sensitive systems; and my weather system, and all of its supporting programs, which were authored in their entirety by me.

I am available for small software projects. Flexible on terms.
