Voice Actor Available for Work

William Demmery is a talented voice actor with roughly 13 years of broadcast experience.

In 2005, he recorded venue announcements for the Ottawa Fringe Festival.

In the same year, he joined the radio comedy show Remote Planet. He quickly augmented his voice-acting roles with script-writing and eventually producing the show and writing most of the content. In later years, he often also hosted the show when the regular host was not available. With experience on both sides of the recording booth window, he has a unique perspective on, and understanding of, the process.

In his 13 years with Remote Planet, Bill recorded over 300 times. He is especially adept at voice characterizations, regional and international accents, and impressions. He has a rich, mellow voice that can be altered on a dime, and can style his voice in many ways, including Disc Jockey, Sportscaster and Radio Announcer. He is pleasant to work with, and takes direction well.

He is currently working on developing a comedy podcast with his long-time associate, Tonia Snow.

Bill has worked on all aspects of the production process and has extensive experience in: studio setup; recording audio; editing audio; generating finished tracks; and putting together complete shows.

Bill is available for your recording needs. Please contact him at mizar64@gmail.com.
